Kashe Jaranilla

Kashe Jaranilla is originally from the West Side of Chicago, where she was raised for most of her life, but now resides in the South, where she believes God has called her. She is a devoted mother of three phenomenal children, a survivor of gun violence, a motivational speaker, and, most importantly, a servant of the Lord.

Kashe’s mission is to testify about how God saved her through multiple encounters with death and how she overcame each circumstance with Him faithfully by her side. Her testimony is a powerful reminder of God’s grace, mercy, and transformative power. She believes Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light, and she gives Him all the glory for setting her free—mentally, emotionally, and physically—from the bondage that once weighed heavily on her mind and heart.

Her book earned a Bookfest Award (Memoir Third Place) after launching on 4/28/26.
